Since it's the end of my exams, IT IS TIME TO GO OUT AND ENJOY!
So SeokYin and I decided to meet up the day after my exam, which is the 29th of August 2013.
And our first stop was Batter Fluffy Flaps , BFF!
It's a little cute cafe located somewhere opposite 112 Katong Mall.
One thing I find really cool about BFF is that you can create your own pancake!
You can check out more about it here >>> http://www.bffpancakes.com/make-it-your-own-2 .
They have a page for the kids too!
They're so creative to use the pancakes to actually form the shapes of pigs and etc. !
So I ordered the Top It, Drop It, Dot it.
Isn't the name just adorable?!
I wanted to go to BFF just because of it!
It's two chocolate chip pancakes with KoKo Krunch and crushed Oreo on top of it, together with Kit-Kat topping with icing, chocolate ice cream and sauces.
However, it was up to my expectations.
It's alright but it didn't WOW me.
Oh ya, it cost $10.90 by the way.
On the other hand, SeokYin ordered Fluffy & Benny with BFF Signature Caramel Date.
Her Fluffy & Benny cost $13.90, which is affordable I guess.
So Fluffy & Benny is like Eggs Benedict but in a pancake way and it's severed with ham and bacon.
I tried it and I think it's not bad actually.
But it's the first time I tried Egg Benedict so I'm not sure how it is compared to others.
Next up, the BFF Signature Caramel Date.
It cost $5.20.
Doesn't it look pretty?!
SeokYin couldn't bear to stir it.
But well, she still had to.
The food there is not bad but it's not that fantastic though.
But you can go try some of their other dishes.
They have Panwiches, Pizza but somewhat pancake, Honey Baked Wings, Banana Choco Milkshake and some other stuff.
You can go to their website to check out the menu.
I've linked the website at the top of this post in case you didn't know.

After brunch at BBF, we headed to the Jurong East.
Yes, apparently we went from the East to West.
We shopped around Jurong East Mall, JEM and when we were supposed to go eat at a cafe in Bukit Batok for dinner, SeokYin's friends suddenly asked her to go to Holland Village for dinner instead.
So we did.
Yay to my transport fee! *Sense my sarcasm*
We ended up eating at Thai Express for dinner.
I ordered Honey Chicken with Rice which cost $11.20.
It's really nice!
I would rate it 4.5/5.
But as you can see from the picture above, there isn't much chicken.
Not only that, the rice is quite hard too. But SeokYin find it okay.
SeokYin ordered Phat Thai Seafood Noodle which cost $12.90.
It's was quite spicy and we didn't even mix it with the chilli flacks.
But well, it is a Thai restaurant after all.
Despite the spiciness, the noodle was really nice too!
Just a picture of Basil Chicken Rice which cost $12.90.
The food there is nice but I would bring my own water there if I were you because they don't serve mineral water. You have to buy a bottle for $1.90.

So moving on, right after dinner we went to Craft Bakery Cafe for desserts!
They're a new cafe which opened on the 24th of July 2013.
Was just playing around with SeokYin's camera while waiting for our desserts.
They have a wide variety of food from pasta to pies and cakes.
And not forgetting their drinks. They have coffee such as Espresso and Affogato.
Thus we did. It is available in hazelnut, peanut butter, mint, caramelized banana and baileys.
(The one shown in the picture above is the Caramelized Banana Molten Cake)
(The one shown in the picture above is the Originals Molten Cake)
(The one shown in the picture above is the Bailey Molten Cake)
We ordered three Originals, three Baileys and one Caramelized Banana Molten Cake.
The Bailey Molten Cake cost $10.50 while the rest cause $9.50 each.
Yup, you didn't read wrongly. We ordered seven Molten Cakes!
I don't think I can eat another molten cake any time soon!
But anyway, the molten cakes came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream each.
It's really nice as expected!
We also tried The Dark Side which is a sweet pastry tart filled with dark chocolate ganache and it cost $6.
Lastly, we also had the Carrot Cake which cost $7.50.
(You guys should have seen the customers and staffs faces when they saw our table!! Priceless!)
The food is great and so is the service.
The staffs are really friendly and the cafe is really cute.
But it's hard to get a seat so it's best if you go early instead.

So overall it was a great day.
I get to meet new friends and try out great food too!
My transport fee made my heart ache though.
Worst part is that I had to use adult fare for the whole day. Gosh.
Oh ya, in my previous post I said I was going to post about my birthday but I have to delay that.
Most probably gonna be after this post.
Thanks for reading!
xoxo,
Pearlcelia.
